"Every moment of your life is infinitely creative and the universe is endlessly bountiful. Just put forth a clear enough request, and everything your heart desires must come to you."
- Mahatma Gandhi, was the pre-eminent political and ideological leader of India during the Indian independence movement."
We often hesitate to follow our intuition out of fear. Most usually, we are afraid of the changes in our own life that our actions will bring. Intuitive guidance, however, is all about change. It is energetic data ripe with the potential to influence the rest of the world. To fear change but to crave intuitive clarity is like fearing the cold, dark night while pouring water on the fire that lights your cave. An insight the size of a mustard seed is powerful enough to bring down a mountain-sized illusion that may be holding our lives together. Truth strikes without mercy. We fear our intuitions because we fear the transformational power within our revelations.

OK- Time for a 2012 Check In. How Are You Doing With Those Dreams?
I can’t freakin BELIEVE that it’s September of 2012! Wait, WHAT!? Where did the time go? Just a few moments ago it was 2011… and now it’s almost 2013! Before we know it, it’ll be holiday season and we’ll be going home with family and starting to celebrate the New Year!
So - that’s why I want do to a little check in with you right now.
How is 2012 going so far for you? Do you still have your New Year’s Resolutions!? Do you still have all those things you said you would do? How are those coming?
You see, here at TDL one of our CORE principles is - THIS AIN’T NO DRESS REHEARSAL!
As in - LIFE. This moment. The one you are living in, the one you are reading this blog in - is NOT a dress rehearsal. So many folks live in the future - what they WILL do - ONE DAY. Living on what you WILL DO ONE DAY is the ultimate dream killer. Seriously.
Your dreams, your goals - the things your heart desires - all these things are PRESENT MOMENT DESIRES! If you aren’t taking action towards them DAILY - then you aren’t going to make them happen.
A common theme or pattern that I see with folks is that they think some magical moment will all of a sudden happen that will make their dreams come true - as if they are going to POP and vanish out of thin air. You and I both know that’s total BS. If we look to nature for clues, we will see that ALL seeds are PLANTED - they must be tended to, nourished and taken care of until finally one day they are ready for harvest - and THEN we must do the hard work of harvesting the crop.
Our goals, our intentions, our desires, our dreams, the life we KNOW we SHOULD be living - all of these things require the same patience, and tender love and care. Without these things, dreams are simply hopes and we may live in some kind of positive denial that they will come true one day, but we know - deep down - that they don’t.
And as we take steps towards all these things, negative emotions will come up - FEARS - will come up. And what do we do? Do we allow these to stop us? NO - we feel them, acknowledge them - and keep pressing on anyways. It is unwise to allow our negative emotions to prevent us from taking action. The idea is to take action IN SPITE of our emotional state. Emotions come and go, but the action that we take will last forever.
For years, I wrote TDL from a pretty sad and lacking state. I wrote years of TDL’s - yes YEARS - of TDL’s, without my own home. I also had moments of heartbreak, sadness and major depression along the way - but every day, I kept writing and kept adding value. In many ways that effort and the TDL Community is partially responsible for saving my life. I don’t know where I would be without you and the TDL Community.
But THIS is what it takes. Hard work. Dedication. Adding value. Taking action regardless of our emotional state and never giving up.
In this instant gratification society, we’ve forgotten this. And it’s time to remember this, and most importantly remember WHO WE ARE. We are children of the Divine Uni-verse. And so as we remember this, we come into alignment with this power and we can be the example of the solution instead of lingering in the past or the problem.
So - where can you pick up where you left off? Where can you REMEMBER who you are and HOW can you apply it? If life isn’t a Dress rehearsal, then what would you do?"
